Sweet Liberty Shelling Tour
On Thursday, September 2nd, discover the treasures
of the sea on our trip to Key Island. Key Island has
seven miles of beaches with an abundance of seashells.
The Sweet Liberty, a 53’ sailing catamaran, will whisk
you through Naples Bay into the Gordon Pass and
on to Key Island for a morning of discovery. View
dolphins, osprey, eagles and more. Also, find beautiful
seashells on the white, sandy beaches. Cost for this
day in the sun is $30 per person. Gratuity for crew not included.
9:15 am check in at the City Dock with a 9:30 am
departure, returning around 12:30 pm. City Dock is
located at 880 12th Ave South, Naples. Snacks and
drinks are available for purchase onboard or you may
bring a small cooler with you.

Labor Day Pool Party!
Join us at the Resort pool on Monday, September 6th from
11:00 am - 2:00 pm for our pool party! DJ Ronald will
be on-site keeping the party going all afternoon with
great tunes and games. The buffet catered by Railhead
Cafe’ will consist of salad, Mojo chicken served
with rice and beans, pulled BBQ pork, char-grilled
hamburger with assorted condiments, corn on the cob
and a dessert station. There will be drink specials on
beer, rum punch and special happy hour pricing. Tickets
are $10 per person and $12 at the door. Please stop
by Railhead cafe’ to make your reservations.

ECHO’s Global Farm Tour
A unique attraction for Lee County, ECHO’s Global
Farm Tour is a fascinating 90-minute tour of the most
creative working farm you have ever experienced. You
will find demonstrations, plants, and techniques useful
to farmers and urban gardeners in developing countries.
Experience six settings of the Global Farm and taste
leaves and berries while you explore rain-forest habitats,
visit farm animals, stop at a simulated Haitian school,
witness urban gardening techniques that allow gardens on
rooftops and learn all about ECHO’s mission of helping
the poor help themselves. ECHO has one of the largest
collections of tropical food plants in Florida. Come visit
this unique Farm with us on Friday, September 24. We will carpool from the Bocce courts at
9:00 a.m., tour is at 10:00 a.m.

End of Summer Bash

Let’s shake it up one more time before summer
whines down! Join us on Saturday, September 25th from
7:00 -10:00 pm here in the Town Center with the duo
Made in Brooklyn! They are back and ready to rock
the evening away. They play everything and anything
you wish to hear or dance to. Doors open at 6:45 pm,
live entertainment from 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Railhead cafe
will be hosting some pre-dance specials, so be sure to
head over from 4:00 - 7:00 pm for these savings. Please
remember to BYOB, non-alcoholic beverages are
included. Tickets are $10 a piece and are available
until Friday, September 24th. We need 50 people
to make this dance a go,

tetanus vaccinations. If you have Medicare part B,
your vaccination will be free, but you must bring
your card with you. If you have Medicare HMO or Advantage, individuals will pay and receive a receipt
for reimbursement from your insurance company.

All VillageWalk residents are invited to come and join
us for good food and good conversation. We will dine
at M Waterfront Restaurant (formerly Maxwell’s on the
Bay). Our menu choices are: Soup du jour or House
Salad, Entrée: Salmon (pan seared or grilled), vegetables
and organic lemon oil OR Grilled Chicken Breast with
Manchego Smashed Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus, Herb
Natural Jus OR Grilled Black Angus NY Strip Steak with
Parmesan Skinny Fries and for dessert, Raspberry Sorbet
or Key Lime Pie. After lunch we head over to Ooh La La (a
fabulous costume jewelry boutique) where we will receive
delicious refreshments and one lucky winner will be drawn
for a gift certificate. Cost is $23.00 per person. Please
RSVP to the HOA Office by September 27th with your

begin at 8:00 pm with passed hors d ’oeuvres; black and white sesame seared ahi tuna; sashimi
on cucumber rounds, mini puffs filled with assorted
cheeses, vegetables and hummus, baby portobello mushrooms with spinach and crab stuffing, mini
bruschetta on garlic croustades, sausage Wellington, caesar salad,
Jack Daniels filet mignon, macadamia
crusted mahi mahi, assorted dessert
tables featuring mini pastries, petit fours
and tarts. Enjoy a champagne
toast at midnight with chocolate
covered strawberries and non-alcoholic
beverages to finish the night off right.
A cash bar will be available for the evening.

are $75 per person and go on-sale Wednesday,
